I just remembered by password...

So.....I may have lost my password, and missed 3 months of blogging :/ I am obviously home now at school, but ill reminisce on the program just to kind of conclude my experience. After the first group of CP's left in May I really started hanging out with my own little "family." Dane, Roshni, Brent and I were inseparable! We went on road trips to Miami and Key West, we stayed at resorts and hotels (The Pineapple- which is sadly being reconstructed),we went on a cruise to the Bahamas, we had family dinners and occasional "special guests", and in the time in between we just bummed around together... I guess what I am getting at here is that....I came into the program looking forward to the experience and just being able to say I worked at Disney. I heard that people found their best friends and boyfriends at Disney but I never thought anything of it. But now looking back on all the experiences we shared in work, doing activities, and even just bumming around...I could not have imagined my program being spent with any better people... I also got that "fairy tale" ending...no I didn't get married and move into Cinderella's castle, but I did make some of the best friends I could ever ask for, and also got a cute boyfriend along the way ;) I won't lie and say that when I came back to Clemson that everything was the same, things were hard to get back to normal, because I was changed and no one could quite understand it unless they lived through that with me...and thats why I am still do close with my "Disney Family" almost 4 months after my programs end. I am currently seasonal at the TTC as a greeter, and will find out next week about another CP (fingers crossed). I know I haven't written nearly enough to catch up for the 4 months that I missed, but all you need to know is the amazing impact the program can make on your life. So ill leave you with some helpful hints to make the program as amazing for you as it was for me! 1.) Make friends with people you work with, they can become your best friends 2.) Don't waste away your days in Florida, there is soo soo much to do! 3.) Don't worry about saving the money that you make, I came home with less money then I left with, but so many memories to share 4.) Don't be afraid of change, your in a new place with new people and new experiences...explore new things and enjoy it 5.) Go to work....those points add up quickly and if you want any connection the company in the future, this is very important 6.) Play in the parks...its FREE, why not?...but dont stay in the Disney bubble the whole time..go out and explore, get an Universal Studios annual pass...ITS WORTH IT:) 7.) Finally, dont be close minded to anything...I could never have guessed all the things that would happen to me during my time here...but they did..change is hard but its GOOD! Keep and open mind and you can make your own dreams come true :) Well that's it for now! Ill try to make a VLOG following up on my bucket list!!!

Departure Dates quickly arriving....

So here we are the last day of April and people are beginning to leave in May! About 5 or 6 of my friends from my location are leaving and I am so sad :( I originally thought I wanted a May end date but now that its here I know it is way to soon to leave! It just makes me sad to think everyone is going home to different states and we may never see each other again. I have spent almost every day doing something with someone from work. And after spending so much time with someone it hard to let them leave to never see them again. But Im going to keep my head up and be thankful I am here until August a long with most of the other CP's in my area. Plus CP housing is hosting a going away event for all CP's where they are renting out all of the water park for us to play after hours! I am super excited about that! And we are having a going away party for everyone leaving in May after that! SO we still have some time to spend with each other! In other news...our roommate got termed so we will probably be getting a new one in May or June from the people who are extending. fingers crossed she isn't crazy!um...this past week I called in on Monday and had a three day vacation! Sunday night some friends and I went to House of Blues...since I was under 21 I had to pay 13$ to get in but it was a lot of fun. Not sure that I would do it all the time but it was good to say I went! After that we went back to my friends and stayed up pretty much the whole night then left for Siesta Key the next morning! This beach is only about 2 hours away and it was beautiful! The sand was white and the water was blue ( my only two requirements for driving two hours out of the way). We just laid out on the beach the whole day then ate supper and rented a hotel and went home the next day! It was great just to get a little vacation from Disney! Before that a lot of us from VP went to Cocoa Beach for the day, but it was extremely windy so we didn't get to enjoy it like we wanted to. But after that we went to a restaurant on the beach with live music and I was content. I learned real quickly if you just stick me somewhere with a live band ill be content for hours. Also, with May rolling in I am having to start thinking about school again, unfortunately. Ive been applying for some campus jobs, i just had an interview for an internship with event planning on campus, and I am hoping that ends up working out because that would be perfect! I also applied again to be a returning SI leader! I am trying to get my summer class set up but failing miserably because no one ever answers the phone. I am dreading having to take accounting online but I have to do it! I am also in my last week of classes at Disney and I will be done with my minor at Clemson! My last Hospitality Management class is today and my Human Resource class is Friday and Ill be done! Well that's it for now...here are some more pictures because we all know I love taking those! :)

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry for the late updates but it has been supppperrr busy. One thing I've learned is, spring break is much more fun when your in college! So many people decided it would be a good idea to come to Disney for spring break! Most CP's were working 13-20 straight days with no days off!(I may have called in when my parents came one day :)) So many days over spring break we almost reached capacity and had to send some guest over to our other parks. Also, another bad thing is that block out dates for Florida residents were up so it killed our ticket sales and of course hardly anyone got a reward :/ But thats okay I got my $130 in Target gift cards in the mail the other day from my last month rewards and Im excited to go shopping! Recently, I've had lots of visits lately! Micah, Shelly, and Dalton came the middle of March for their spring break! They only stayed with me for 2 nights but we had a lot of fun! We went to Animal Kingdom& Hollywood Studios one day and then we spent the next day exploring Florida! I found the town of Celebration which was the cutest town ever! It reminds me so much of Charleston! Ive decided if I ever get sad or worn down I could go there and it will just make me so happy again! Then we went to Downtown Disney, played some mini golf, and I had a date with my boyfrand at City Walk! It was too short but I loved seeing them! Just last week my parents came to visit me! They got to stay a whole week! I stayed with them in the resort, unfortunately it was a lock off so it was really small! We did all kind of fun stuff! One day we just relaxed by the pool which was wonderful! Other days, my friends came to cook out and swim, one night we went on a casino cruise, went to a comedy dinner theater, went shopping, and I took them to Epcot ( mom first time)etc. I was really glad to see them I am starting to miss home, and I still have a few more months to go! Now, my sister that I haven't seen in almost 10 years is in Disney and I am going to see her at MK today! I am excited for that! In other news...as if I havent told you before...I love my job..even though it has been crazy and draining I just really love the people I work with. We are all so close and are always doing something together! Just yesterday we went to Hollywood Studios and played in the park and had 17 of us go out to eat at the 50's Prime Time Diner. Other days we have smaller groups and go to Universal, have cook outs, play mini golf etc etc.... one thing I do miss is my roommates! Since I have been with my parents the last week and been working opposite schedules over Spring Break I have not done anything with them in so long...so we are definitely planning on a roomie date soon! Well that's about it for now! Here are some pictures!

Catch up :D

Ive been slacking on this blog....but I will try to play catch up on everything is going on ( Universal, Be Our Guest, Cheesecake Factory, and Rewards!) if there is anyone who is actually still reading this. So, last week I bought an annual Universal Pass. I got the preferred one, which is the middle one. This one includes parking and no lock out dates and it was just $60 more. I did get the Fl resident discount so it in total was a little over $200. I am doing the monthly payment plan so I just had down payment of $100 and then $11 payments each month. It is a really good deal seeing that a one day ticket to both parks is over $130. Also, Universal has a concert series going now until April and there is one in the Summer as well! Tomorrow we are going back to see Montgomery Gentry tomorrow and ride rides before then! So, if you are planning to do this program it is so smart to get an annual pass!! Next on the agenda.....BE OUR GUEST! ahhh For those of you who do not know what this is...it is a restaurant they opened in The New Fantasyland! They have a Quick Service area and a sit down restaurant where you dine in the bests castle. ( you have to reserve these seats like 5 years in advance). Luckily, my friend made reservations before he even started the program and the person he was planning to take did not end up going so he invited me! It was so wonderful! The food was delicious, the inside was beautiful, and we got to meet the beast! It was kind of expensive, but worth it! I forgot to mention...Jake and I pretended it was our anniversary so that we could get the grey stuff ( its only given for celebrations) we had anniversary pins and all... but come to find out the Grey Stuff is not nearly what you would expect..all it was was grey icing...but oh well now I can say I tried the grey stuff! Ooh speaking of food...some of my VP friends and I went to the Cheesecake Factory! I had never been before so it was a wonderful first time! We were going to eat supper there but the wait was 1 hour and a half so we ended up just going for cheesecake! We all got different cheesecakes and sampled every ones! It was delicious! I will be going back!! oooh another perk of VP is the rewards! Last week I got $110 in Publix gifts cards just for selling Florida Resident tickets! I am also getting $130 in rewards for reaching my goal in ticket sales! We are the only job that gets rewards for doing our job its awesome! And i can use the extra cash in my pocket since I have two days off a week I am getting now over time and almost everyone else is...Im making about $130 (after rent and taxes) and everyone else is at about $250 ish! But I enjoy my days off! The classes are long (4 hours) but not too bad! I am also finishing up my minor with these two classes so when I come back I will only have to worry about my major! Finally! MY boyfriend and best friend and her boyfriend are coming to see me in less than a week! I am so so so so excited! They are coming on the 15th and staying until the 18th! The 15th they are staying at Dalton's dad's then the 16 & 17 they are staying at All Star Movies with me! Saturday we are going to the park and Sunday I have a date night with Micah after work! I am so excited! I am taking him to downtown Disney! We are going to Ghiradelli and maybe the hot air balloon and maybe the dine in movie and maybe the boardwalk! Just so much to show him and so much time to spend with him! I am ecstatic! Sadly, my brother isnt coming this week like he planned, because his friend was unable to come with him :( But, my mom and step dad are coming the end of March and beginning of April which I am super excited about! Well, that's about it for now Ill leave you with more pictures...of course :)

Inspection/kitchen sink/and an array of other things that have happened..

Well first off, we had inspection last week. You'd think for the amount we spend to live here we wouldn't have people come and tell us to clean up our house...but we do! We hear horror stories of people failing for leaving dryers on the counter and not cleaning their ovens so we did some major cleaning! (if you fail you can pay up to like $100). Thankfully when it was all said and done we got the white glove which is the cleanest it can be! We got a tin of cookies too! My roomates that were here got their picture taken to be put on the board in the office...pretty cool :) Also, the other day we decided to go to the boardwalk for one of my friends birthday! It was the most precious place ever! They have an actual boardwalk, a big lake in the middle, boats that take you across it, sandy beach area, and so much more precious things. We went to Beaches and Cream. If you don't know what that is...all you need to know is THE KITCHEN SINK! The kitchen sink is served in an actual sink like container, has 8 scoops of ice cream, every topic they serve, as well as a whole can of whip cream (A WHOLE CAN)!! Oh yes it was beautiful! This dessert goes for $27, but there was 7 of us so we split it up and only ended up paying 4 dollars a piece! You def need to try this is you are ever in the area! Lets see what else has been going on?!? Well good news is I havent been sleeping so much lately hah Ive been bowling ($22 for two games!!!), to all the parks, the boardwalk, just to see the firework shows etc... Ive really has a great time getting to know all the people I work with! The #1 best thing about being a Vacation Planner (over sitting every day and having air conditioner) is the friendships you make withe everyone you work with. We are one of the smaller areas of the park so we are able to really get to know most people in our area! Most of the things I have done is with my fellow CP's who are VP and some of the veteran VP's as well! I really could not have asked for a better position! In other news...My brother, boyfriend, best friend, her boyfriend, and my parents are coming to see me next month! I am so excited! I have so many places and people I want them to see! I cannot wait! Also, when Micah, Shelly, and Dalton are coming there is a Kenny Chesney,Eric Church, Eli Young Band, and Kasey Musgrove concert in Tampa which I REALLY want to go to! Fingers crossed I get that day off! Well i guess that is all for now..Ill end with some pictures :) oh btw the weather is beautiful :)
